at the Growing Kids Learning Centers.

We understand the importance of hiring the best people to teach and care for young children. Our hiring methods are designed to find the applicants who have the skills and experience that best fit our current staffing needs. Since our methods may be a little different than other child care providers, here is some additional information about what we do.

When does Growing Kids hire new teachers?
             Growing Kids hires new teachers throughout the year, generally because our
          enrollment has increased or to replace a departing staff member. Sometimes our
          hiring is planned well in advance and sometimes we need to hire a teacher on
          shorter notice.

What is the application process?
The first step is to complete an application and to complete a skills assessment,
either in person at one of our schools, or on-line.

To complete an on-line application –

1. Print the application (see the link below)

2. Send the completed application to the school of your choice. The addresses are listed on the Contact Us page.

3. Take the skills assessment on-line (either before or after you submit the application). Click on the link below. The skills assessment takes most applicants about 45 minutes to complete. Please allow enough time to complete the assessment.

If your skills are a potential match for our current hiring needs, the Center Director may call to schedule an interview, usually within 1 – 2 weeks after you submit your application and complete your assessment.

If there isn’t a match at this time, we will keep your application on file for future reference. As mentioned earlier, our staffing needs can change quickly. If we don’t contact you now, we may contact you later to see if you are still interested in joining the Growing Kids team.

            We look for people who enjoy working with children and want to help children learn
          and grow. Specific education or experience with young children is helpful, but not
