Safety and Security
State-of-the-art safety and security features are designed into each Growing Kids facility, inside and out. But keeping your child safe involves more than high tech equipment and tall fences. It also involves teachers who have the training and the watchful eyes needed to keep your child safe every minute he or she is with us.
Here are a few of the reasons you can rest easy when your child is here:
- There’s only one way for outsiders to enter the building – through the monitored and locked main entrance. (But there are lots of exits, in case of emergency.)
- Playground areas are fully enclosed with tall fences. And kids of different age groups play in different areas, because it’s safer (and more fun) that way.
- Every classroom is equipped with closed-circuit TV and phones so supervisors can monitor activity and two-way communication can happen quickly.
- A low student-teacher ratio ensures that we’re able to keep a close eye on things. And there are virtually no “blind spots” in the room layout that could obstruct the teacher’s view.
- Every staff member is trained in CPR and first aid.
