Education is a vital part of what we do at Growing Kids. Each member of our staff works hard to help kids grow – intellectually, emotionally and socially. And every teacher is personally dedicated to providing a physically stimulating educational experience. At other facilities “likes kids” may be enough to get you hired. Not here.
- Growing Kids uses the nationally recognized Scheig Hiring and Performance System to find and keep top quality teachers.
- We follow a professionally developed age-appropriate curriculum and weekly lesson plans to ensure consistent educational quality at every level.
- A low student-teacher ratio ensures that we’re able to help each child explore and develop at his or her own pace.
- Many classes are taught by “co-teachers” – two teachers in the same class. Unlike some facilities, we don’t have assistants. All of our teachers are qualified to supervise children, lead activities and interact with parents.
- All classrooms are well organized, well equipped, and designed for teaching. Sometimes it may look like the kids are just playing – especially in “Main Street,” our unique mini-town that lets kids experience “real life” in a play-like environment. But they learn a lot here, and you won’t find anything like it anywhere else.
