At Growing Kids Learning Center, our goal is to help children realize their full potential at every stage of development. Research confirms the importance of early childhood education as an influence on future success. We believe, as most experts do, that young children learn best through hands-on, directed play activities. What that means in the classroom is that our teachers present a variety of interesting open-ended learning opportunities for children, and then let the children explore, think about and learn at their own pace. With this understanding as our starting point, all aspects of our schools and educational approach have been designed to reflect it. (Programs and availability vary by location.)

Educational Groups:

Infant Care – For children 6 weeks old until they are walking, our infant room provides a warm loving atmosphere for your little one to feel safe and secure. As your baby grows, our caring teachers will develop a series of activities specifically for your child to learn and explore.

Toddler and Young Preschool – Children who are walking through 24 months of age join our Toddler group. Children who are two years old until three years old and potty trained are Young Preschoolers. These two groups are close in age, but cover a great range of development. Toddlers are naturally curious and at Growing Kids, they can explore their world in a safe and friendly environment. Our teachers guide the children through hand-on discovery activities and foster their sense of independence. Young Preschoolers develop further with new language and social skills. Teachers and parents work together to help each child become potty trained.

Preschool – For children three years old and potty trained, preschool is the next step towards kindergarten and elementary school. Although they have been learning since the very beginning, our preschool challenges each child to develop and reach his/her full potential. While your child thinks she is playing and having fun with friends, we see structured, open-ended play activities designed to stimulate all areas of development – cognitive, social-emotional, and physical.

Kindergarten – Growing Kids offers part-day and full-day kindergarten with small class sizes and plenty of individualized attention. Our program prepares your child for first grade socially and academically. We also know that while your child feels like one of the big kids, he/she may still need an occasion hug or a little extra attention every now and then.

School Age Care (After School Care and Vacation Camps) – To help parents balance the demands of their schedule and the school schedule, Growing Kids offers School Age Care basically whenever school is not in session. Parents can count on Growing Kids to provide care after school, on school half-days, on school days off. We only have 6 scheduled holidays a year. During vacations (Winter, Spring and Summer) we offer School Age Camps, complete with field trips, activities and more.

Evening Care – Whether its work, classes, or maybe just an evening out, some parents need care after 6 pm. Growing Kids is there with evening care, either on a routine schedule or incidental basis. We provide care for children as late as 11:30 pm on weeknights (at select centers, ages may vary.) It’s the same safe and enriching environment that’s available during the day, complete with dinner and a bedtime snack.
